For most people the holiday season is extremely busy, stressful, and overwhelming at times.  It is also a time of being social which means great food and drink, more then what we are generally used to. 

Keep moving over the holidays to help relieve some of the tension and stress that you may feel over the holidays; to help keep your calorie balance while enjoying all that great food and drink, and to get that needed vitamin D we tend to have less of in the winter.  Our weather is extradordinary right now so enjoy it.

Here are some exercise tips and a quick and easy workout you can do at home or away over the holidays.

Cranberry Chocolate Surprise PDF Print E-mail

Well, after Halloween and a pretty big period of not feeling the greatest I decided it was time to cleanse.  I asked the kids if they wanted to join me on the challenge to eat a "cleanse" type diet and they were in...Eden without hesitation and Annika with quite a bit of hesitation but on board because she knows that it is the best way for her to eat.

Eden and I set outselves to the challenge of making fairly "cleanse" friendly cookies last week and the result was DELICIOUS!!  I hope you enjoy them as much as we are.  We didn't put the chocolate chips in but they will be definitely be in when we bake them as part of our Christmas baking.
